Job Description
As part of a project to design electronic boards for on-board aeronautical systems:
- You will work closely with the Design Office Product Manager.
- You will be involved in the design of high-speed digital and analogue electronics and low-power avionics network power supplies (28VDC and 115VAC) in accordance with DO254.
- Your input data will include the product's technical specification, technical data on existing electronic boards and feedback.
In this role you will be responsible for :
- Participating in the specification and development of products, in particular sizing and choice of hardware, COTS in particular.
- Specifying electronic sub-assemblies.
- Developing electronic sub-assemblies
- Draft test procedures (signal integrity, robustness, functionality)
- Carry out HW verification of the HW assembly and its HW sub-assemblies: characterisation, sub-assembly testing, sub-assembly integration, equipment testing, etc.
- Participating in the drafting of technical (electronic) and interface (DDIM, ICD) documents, as well as technical reviews.
- Drafting of study reports, feasibility analysis, assessments and comparisons (summary and detailed assessment with a view to reuse, feedback, validated solutions, areas for optimisation).
- Reporting, management of anomalies and corrections, management of the configuration of entrusted assemblies (product and documentary), management of reviews relating to the entrusted assembly.
- CAD: routing specifications (DCC), S/T monitoring, checking CAD, producing DDs - Archiving project data (PLM).
Requirements
Profile required:
- You have an engineering degree or university equivalent.
- You have between 10 and 20 years' experience in aeronautical electronics development, V cycle and DAL D development processes.
- You have knowledge of OrCAD and OrCAD PCB software.
- You have technical knowledge of Signal Integrity, Power Distribution Network, high-speed digital electronics, analogue and low-power power supplies for 28VDC and 115VAC avionics networks.
- You are fluent in English.
