For the system validation, we have to setup the vehicle in order to perform the testing: flashing, coding and calibrating the parking ECU with several tools.
The Bosch embedded software is divided in several features that need to be tested and reported to the respective Function Owner.
On track site, you will be trained by the Function Owner in order to perform a complete feature testing following the test catalogue based on the customer requirements and using an Application Lifecycle Management Tool called ETM (IBM Rational Quality Manager).
After performing the feature testing, you will give your feedback about the series testing, upload the measurement and testing data and generate a full testing report, including a bug management ticket in order to optimize the Bosch embedded software.
T&S is developing his own tools in order to perform all this series testing and increase the accuracy of the result and the efficiency of the testing activities.
In order to keep improving our tools, a special case study will be proposed to the student to demonstrate his engineering capability.
T&S TOOLS MAINTENANCE:
Due to a dynamic environment test on site and the number of them, the report of the preparation of the car system can be partial. It is nearly impossible to recover or merge with the test feature after that.
In order to increase our accuracy and management report, a complete automation has to be design, including the save on the network and send with outlook.
This automatic report involves lot of existing function on our tool, need to be organize and optimize for better accuracy. According with the user you will define the report requirement for the general software or specific feature.
