Job Description
You will contribute to the development and delivery of premium connected infotainment solutions for one of our great client in Frankfurt-Rhein-Main :
- Take end to end ownership and lead the development and delivery of the navigation solution for the global markets outside of China,
- Ensure the integration of the navigation solution as part of infotainment and connected car ecosystem,
- Collaborate closely with the UX/UI teams,
- Review, create and maintain product, system and design requirements incl. change management,
- Define test and validation activities and lead the creation of test methods and standards.
- Participate in test and sign-off drives,
- Challenge the technical content and product definition under the aspects of performance and competitiveness,
- Identify gaps, propose improvement opportunities and drive their implementation,
- Ensure compliance with market specific requirements and regulations (e.g. Europe, North America),
- Perform benchmark activities, analyse market and technology trends and present conclusions to the leadership.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, information technology or a related
- course of studies,
- 5-10 years of working experience in the development of navigation solutions, preferably in the automotive industry,
- Technical expertise within multiple of the following domains: connected navigation/location services, routing, guidance, geocoding & search, map rendering, positioning, electronic horizon provider, EV specific navigation features, map/cartography, voice control for navigation,
- Strong understanding of the integration interfaces of a navigation solution,
- Android Automotive experience is desirable,
- Exposure to a complete development lifecycle from concept to series production for a navigation solution or other infotainment product or sub-domain,
- Self-motivated, customer focused and solution driven,
- Excellent communicator with an open and structured mindset,
- Willingness to travel occasionally,
- Fluent in English,
- Driving license.
